Abdullah Swaiti holds the position of Counsel at Z&Co.

Abdullah’s primary practice includes commercial, regulatory and policy advisory to both public and private sector clients.

Since joining Z&Co., Abdullah has worked on several major projects with private and public clients including Amaala Company on several commercial and regulatory matters, the Royal Commission of Mecca City and the Holy Sites (RCMC) on a number of commercial matters and regulatory mandates, Deloitte on commercial matters, The Ministry of Tourism on commercial, litigation and regulatory matters, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) on commercial and litigation matters, and Flow Consortium for the Riyadh Metro on commercial matters.

Before joining the firm, Abdullah worked at a number of international firms including Dentons, Ernst & Young and Schneider Electric. Abdullah is a qualified lawyer, project manager and engineer and has over 20 years of deep experience in all fields. Abdullah received his LLB (with honours) from Griffith University in Australia and is admitted as a solicitor and barrister in Australia.

Abdullah is a process improvement expert with deep experience driving change for both government and private sector clients. He has successfully driven organisational and productivity improvements across a myriad of projects in various industry and business sectors.
Abdullah draws on his unique legal skills and experience in contract/commercial management to deliver intuitive solutions for clients. He is highly successful in negotiating a myriad of small to large agreements in a large cross-section of industry and business sectors. He has successfully advised executives in multinational organisations on complex legal matters, process improvement, strategic procurement and client engagement.

Key recent experience includes advising:

  • Providing regulatory and commercial advice to Amaala Company, including advice on contracts and leases, advice on obtaining ECSZA exemptions, advice on policies and regulations.
  • Providing regulatory and commercial advice to the Royal Commission of Mecca City (RCMC) on a myriad of matters.
  • Advising Deloitte on litigation and commercial matters.
  • Advising PIF on litigation and commercial matters.
  • Advising the Flow Consortium for the Riyadh Metro on commercial and regulatory matters.
